Ret. Gen Flynn warns of unelected ‘tyrants,’ says ‘time for God-fearing Americans to fight’

Retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn warned of rule by “tyrants whom no one has elected and who want to have power in order to destroy us” in a new op-ed published by The Western Journal on Saturday.

In his op-ed titled, “We’re in a Battle of Good vs. Evil – It’s Time for God-Fearing Americans To Fight” Flynn did not specify who the so-called “tyrants” were, but said, “They have violated our laws; they have betrayed our nation and their oath to serve our country, their oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution.”

“The battle we are engaged in cannot be fought with only human weapons: It requires the intervention of God because in a war against the forces of evil, only the Lord can obtain the victory,” Flynn’s op-ed began. “And as American citizens, we must refuse to go to the funeral of our own independence. We the people are proud to proclaim that the United States of America is ‘One Nation under God.’”

Flynn also appeared to describe the “tyrants” in the context of the November 2020 U.S. election, writing, “Our protest, our denunciation of electoral fraud, is not only motivated by the fact that we are supporting Donald J. Trump as a candidate. It is above all a battle for justice and truth, which goes far beyond membership in a party or voting for a candidate.”

Flynn added, “If today we do not obtain justice from our elected officials, if the United States of America does not know how to choose between defending the law and legitimizing a coup against its citizens, our nation will abdicate its duties toward Americans and its international role.”

The only way we have an effective revolution is if the military is behind it, and since many of them were products of the Obama screening years ago that resulted in 4,500 senior officers being purged from the military, do not hold your breath!!!  The people in uniform will be more loyal to Biden than they ever were to Trump!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing could be more obvious than who we need to fight. Not all of them maybe,but it won't be hard to get a list once you capture a few of the prominent public figures.

WRONG! This is America. The military needs to remain neutral and restrict all their units to the bases until after the fighting ends.

As for the traitors in uniform,the military is well-equipped to deal with them once they no longer have political protection.

I did speak to an ex army vet that I happened to walk up to, to thank him for his service to our country... this was maybe about 2 years ago ... in the course of our conversation he claimed that the vets are arming and gearing up.  That was to combat the illegal invasion. ????  I've heard this a couple of times, but I don't know what to think.

I wonder what stance (if any) veterans will take should the masses rise up against a tyrant government??

Veterans are no different than anyone else except in combat experience. We will NOT rise up as a part of a military unit,but as individual Americans,just like everyone else.

The differences will be in the quality of our armament and our experience dealing with gunfire/stressful situations.

Sneakypete, do you really believe for a nanosecond the military will NOT be used with an uprising/revolution?

I know what our laws call for, BUT, the laws are only for those that care to abide by them.  If military units are called up to set down a revolt, and I am including National Guard Units, active military, reserve units, whoever, I believe they respond and work to protect the existing government.  Now veterans, that might be another story.

I do not see a peaceful revolt where people are in the streets demanding Biden leave office.  And a violent undertaking would mean seizing numerous military bases to stop the escape of Biden, i.e. Andrews Airforce Base where Airforce One is located, etc.  Plus I am certain there are military or government air crafts at every airport in the Washington metro, so those airports would need to be secured too.  The numbers and organization to displace an established government would be too large to ever make it into reality.

So, there will be no overthrow, no insurrection resulting in a new government, no revolution.  And I find it naive the military would sit back and do nothing when ordered to do so.

I believe it's going to be a mixed bag,with NG units being activated by governors,but the "professional military" telling them all to go piss up a rope,and locking down their bases.

Not even sure all the NG units will respond other than to stop riots and restore order.
