Army investigators are trying to determine the circumstances behind the deaths of two men after their bodies were found at Fort Bragg on Wednesday.

The two bodies were found in a training area on post, according to a statement released by Fort Bragg officials Thursday. The deaths are not related to official unit training, it said.

Special agents with the Army Criminal Investigation Command are investigating the deaths, the statement said.

“No further information is available at this time due to the sensitive nature of the ongoing investigation and the pending notification of next of kin,” the statement said.
