Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says he has no health issues of concern — despite sporting bruises and bandages on his hands this week.

The 78-year-old Kentucky senator dodged questions about his health from reporters in the Capitol Thursday, CNN reported.

Asked whether he had any health issues, McConnell answered, “of course not,” and then didn’t respond when asked if he was being treated by a doctor.

Later, McConnell — who is up for re-election — said there were “no concerns” when asked by the network about the bruises on his hands and whether he had any other health issues.

His aide also declined to provide details when asked multiple times about the Republican’s health.

And don't We, the People have a right to know who he's beating up on or defending himself from?   I would think so, considering the critical position he holds.

I would bet it was gravity he was defending himself from.  He looks very much like my dad did a couple of weeks ago when he fell.

Thank you!  I was just going to talk about HARRY REID...who had the 'same accident'.  Mitch, was worked over by some DEMON-RAT.  NO DOUBT IN MY MIND.  MITCH WAS ATTACKED.   I didn't mind it with REID and his corruption.  MITCH, is half way corrupt.  A RINO.  he thought he could get by, being a RINO.  THE DEMON-RATS WANT HIM REMOVED. They were calling him "Moscow Mitch'.  This has demon-rat. M.O. , all over it. This is how they roll.

Luckily, Joe Biden was unavailable to comment about health questions he may obviously have, as he’s hidden himself away from media questions. Questions that might inform the public about the flawed and China-compromised Joe Biden, for whom democrats will soon be voting. But, hey, look over here at Trump’s taxes! Oooooh.

Except that.... (with all due respect).... if he had stumbled, as you suggest, why would the 'tops' of his hands be bruised, along with his mouth?   What?  He somehow fell on his mouth and managed to hit the "back of his hands" at the same time?   Physically improbable, if not impossible. 

But like you said... you do you.   I'll stick with logic.

He definitely looks like someone punched him in the mouth as he has a fat lip -- and it looks like he held his hands up to defend himself.  A fall wouldn't explain the severe bruising on the hands.  If he wasn't attacked, I'm thinking he was involved in a car accident -- but then you would think that he would have eluded to that.

This isn't from any medication either.  I say he was attacked -- almost like he got punched in the mouth before getting onto an elevator and tried to escape and his hands were slammed in between the doors .... my guess at least.

I fainted a couple years back...Marc C...former member here...the helicopter pilot from Britain deduced that I was dehydrated.

But since then, when I feel lightheaded in the slightest, ...when I dry myself after a shower, etc., I make sure that if my knees buckle, I won't head my head on the marble sink or toilet bowl.

Had a friend pass away from hitting her head like that.  Plus, head wounds bleed like a sieve.

The pic shows bandaids (cuts) on both hands.   Logic dictates that this was no polio or medications related injury.

Yes, something like that.  Human nature is 'funny".  Most, try to make excuses for the worst behaviors. That is going into denial.  "He didn't mean it'. "it was an accident'. "he accidentally, raped that little boy, over & over again'.  If people stopped making excuses and just look.....look at what it looks like.  Then most would be correct.  Mitch, says no health issue. He won't talk about it.  That is a clue. A very high percentage of 'conspiracy theory's', turn out to be true.
