It was funny to me.  But then, I've been to a few "trashers" in my old Frat days with @Wingnut  (we're Brothers).  The host buys a new trashcan, puts in a liner or two and guests bring their choice of hard liquor and a mixer to fill it.  Throwing some chunks of dry ice in the can gives it a cool visual effect, and carbonates the punch.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.

You think YOU'VE got it bad? No liner in a redneck trashcan... because half of em were gonna bring shine, and the shine would eat the liner... Happy if the can was clean... though SHINE, so... Sh*t, half the time the galvanizing was ate off before the night was done.

I get that... I was around 14 when I got going... which would have been around 76 going through something like 85 which is about when I got married and dried up (in more ways than one).

But Bon Jovi in a redneck song is kinda something Joe Nichols should be called on the carpet for... Though I am fairly sure his answer would be 'nothing rhymes with Skynyrd' ... Which is why I think the matter was never brought up.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
You must have it in a cache or something, because I get the "No such post" page when I click this link.
I get that, too.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

There are lots of ways to make your material unseen. Banning is the nuclear response, some are more subtle.

They do the same thing with "Climate Change", a not so obviously political issue.

There are lots of ways to hide a post, namely to set your default to "Most Relevant" and bury the response, to put it under "See other comments', and to clip it and put "see more", to strip it of vital material being readily observable. All these have been used against me, in responses to folks on climate change threads.
