Life Under A Constitutional Republic vs. Socialism

“ONE BITE AT A TIME”

My heart’s desire is that I can help people to better understand living in a Constitutional Republic vs a Socialist Government, which some leaders of the Democrat Party such as Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and others of which you are aware are strongly advocating. They refer to their movement as “Democratic Socialism” or a “Socialist Democracy.”

If I can’t do that in an effective manner, it is not because of you. It is because of my poor ability to properly explain it. If you believe in Socialism or are not sure before reading this and still do after considering it, then I have failed, and apologize for wasting your time. It’s a bit lengthy but please read it. It will take only a couple of minutes.

Most are aware of Ben Franklin’s famous reply when asked as he emerged from the convention, “Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?” “A Republic, if you can keep it.”

It is of utmost importance to here and now understand that “Democracy” is not found in any Founding Document, and “Socialist” is not found in any founding document, much less “Socialist Democracy”!!

In the mid 1970s when I wrote a graduate thesis comparing the post WWII results of free market W German capitalism vs socialist/communist E Germany, the conclusion was clear in favor capitalism.

In the present era, Canada, Norway, Denmark and Sweden appeal to the left, ONLY since they enjoy tax revenues from strong capitalist economies/mixed economies

I'm all in on a constitutional republic.

Now, if only we could find the one we threw away in the first place.

Unless they're willing to fight with the force of arms, Americans ARE going to find out "what socialism is like"... and much worse.

Mr. Trump may win this time. That is still an unknown at this point.
If he wins, he'll hold back the dike for another 4 years.
But... after him... who can possibly pick up his sword and wield it?

It's only a matter of time (and changing demographics, particularly in Georgia and Texas) before the democrat-communists gain full power once again.

When that time comes, traditional-minded Americans of "the Heartland" will have a VERY difficult choice to make:
Submit,
or
Rebel.

Once again, my American Timeline. The dates don't matter quite so much any more -- it's "the progression" that counts:
2019: USA -- United States of America
20xx: USSA -- United Socialist States of America
20xx: USSSA -- United Soviet Socialist States of America
20xx:  ?????

"After Trump, the deluge..."

Emphatically and fundamentally disagree.
The Republic vs. Socialism contrast is nothing but another in an endless
queue of ignorant political isms which have clashed down thru history.
We are in our morass because we, and the world, have embraced
materialism as our highest calling and the answer to our every problem.
As a result, the "Fat Wallet Frauds & Hustlers" lead us by the nose 24/7/365!!!
The Enlightenment, w/Capitalism in its back pocket, birthed this corrosive & deadly
nostrum, some 250 years ago and its impetus has ben strikingly evident in the
condition of Religion, in Art, including Architecture and Philosophy and most
critically in the attitude, behavior, impulses and sentiments of Mankind;

Try being a little bit of a condescending ass! My family, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, uncle, God parents and dozens of their friends escaped that wonderful life of socialism in Hungary. I don't need to pick up a history book because my family lived it and see the same bullshit being pushed by democrats here. And to just to let you know, you are not half the wit you think you are. I will go back to ignoring you until you post some egregious twattle again in your arrogant 'I'm so much smarter than you' claptrap. A parting question, did you ever have a thought(your seemingly favorite insult) that you didn't share?

Apparently God and you are best buds. Wow.....who knew!
Anyway, uninterested in any urinary contest w/your type.
Suggest you pass on the History book and pick up an English grammar text.
Who knows; perhaps by the end of the decade you'll be able to compose a
sentence w/a thought in it.
Hey.....everything is possible!

Hey.....everything is possible!
Unfortunately, real history says otherwise. Real history says, alas, anything can happen---and usually does.
