Kohl's cuts 15% of corporate workforce
« on: September 15, 2020, 11:15:26 pm »
Well...well....now's the perfect time to boycott. Let 'em sink!  It's too bad as I really liked the store -- but they can sit on their BLM merchandise!  Now is the perfect time for a brick and mortar clothing/department storeto make its debut to put them out of business -- not a whole lot of competition out there!  We need a good ole made in the USA store!!!

Kohl's cuts 15% of corporate workforce

Kohl's Corp said on Tuesday it has cut about 15% of its corporate jobs as the department store operator looks to save cash at a time when the COVID-19 has hammered demand for its products.

The company said the job cuts would likely save it about $65 million in annual expenses, and were part of its broader plan to reduce costs by more than $100 million.

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Uh huh. Blame COVID, everyone else does!

Pandering to a small minority of Marxists just couldn't have anything to do with it...

(Ask JC Penney's how their 'two mommies' ads went over.) Duh.

I've never stepped inside a Kohl's store, and can't think of any reason or need to do so.

Perhaps they are merely trying to appeal to their existing customer demographic?

Hard to believe that a national chain's marketing executives would deliberately alienate a substantial percentage of the buying public, but apparently they do.

I found out last night there's a Kohls in my little town.  Huh.

K-Mart was the single largest gun dealer in the US in terms of firearms sold.
Rosie O'Donnell ambushed  Tom Selleck over his support of the NRA and the RKBA on her show when he was there to plug a movie. K Mart refused to dump her and cut back on selling guns.
Look where they are now.

Some nitwit at JC Penney's thought ads with two mommies and two daddies would be a good idea.
The company is still in business, (barely) after backing water on that sales angle, which alienated the middle class customer base.

It seems the only thing learned from history is that people don't learn from history.
