Now widely decried as "conspiracy theories" by the same folks who would tell you Operation Fast and Furious was a conspiracy theory, too.
I mean, seriously, who would believe stuff like the BATFE was sanctioning and ordering the sale of bulk lots of firearms to sketchy dudes who disappeared with them into Mexico, claiming they were tracking those firearms when there was no way to do so, for the purpose of having those firearms appear at crime scenes to bolster the ailing allegation that gun sales in the US fed the arsenals of international Drug Cartels to use that information to push to disarm Americans? Right? Sounds koo-koo doesn't it?
I am ever cognizant that the best defense the Leftists have had is to claim something was a "conspiracy theory" and ridicule it in full daylight. Ever since Lee Harvey Oswald banged out those Camp Perry worthy shots downhill, from the 6th floor of a warehouse at a moving target at street level the size of a dinner plate, with a cheap Italian surplus rifle, and people doubted....and LHO was whacked by a guy who died of cancer not so long after, and the report was hardly out yet and the evidence sealed....the more outrageous the crime, the crazier it sounds, in theory, right?
I mean, who would believe a candidate for high office would pay a Russian for a fake dossier on an opposing candidate, use that dossier to push for microscopic investigation of that candidate by Federal agencies who reported back to that candidate's former 'boss', who would release the findings to the candidate for their opposition research department, and when that candidate lost the election, would turn those same agencies loose on the winner to try to remove him from office?
What an unbelievable spy movie plot. Never get filmed with that crazy story, right?
There are other stories, too, but I won't get into how the one person who allegedly signed off on Obama's multilayer .pdf Birth Certificate was the only person on the plane which successfully ditched close enough to shore for one of the passengers to swim there, to die of a "Cardiac Arrhythmia" when she'd had no heart problems, and everyone else on board survived, albeit they got wet? Darn, and just when that issue was heating up again.
