For those still following the NFL:

Bills blew a 28-3 lead... and still won.

Unlike the Falcons, who blew yet another lead, this time to journeyman legend Nick Foles.

Thankfully, the NFL makes virtually no money off me so I can watch/listen as I please (though I spent most of the afternoon out on a walk anyway).

Bidwell was the bogeyman when the Cardinals were still in St. Louis (and I lived there, too). The fans were not happy.

That's why I was pissed in the 80's when they moved to Phoenix.  If we had just waited a couple years, we could have gotten an expansion franchise, but No!  We had to have a team right now!  It didn't matter it was the worst franchise in the country because of Bidwell.  We didn't have a televised home game for almost a decade after that because of the blackout rules.  It took that long to sell out a college football stadium.

I was watching the Rose Bowl today... and you'd think, with as much as this virus has shaken up, you would think that the College Football Playoff committee would be forced to reconsider more than just the same old teams, year in and year out. But NOOO... instead we're on pace for Clemson v. Alabama, Round  ∞.

I still would've rather seen Cincinnati instead of Notre Dame.

Year in and year out, Notre Dame is ranked way higher than they should be. They had no business playing in the semifinal game.

Edit: Apparently Ohio State pulled off the comeback. No wonder why Dabo Swinney was upset the Buckeyes were invited. He knew Clemson would lose.

Q:  What's the difference between Notre Dame and Lucky Charms?

A:  Lucky Charms belongs in a bowl.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."
