I posted this on another discussion site, but it's worth re-posting here. Cumulatively, starting last February, I've probably spent dozens of man-hours researching, accumulating, and compiling information about Covid-related events, actions, and public statements, especially Trump Administration statements and actions. My full timeline is linked in my signature, and it grows significantly every week or so as new stuff happens and/or I find more information about past doings. The bottom lines are easily summarized, though:
* The Trump Administration was
taking action within and sometimes a bit beyond what was known at the time, starting January 4th; two major
actions were the start on January 17th of arriving passenger screening and the shutdown of travel from China, effective February 2nd;
* The Trump Administration spoke clearly and early about the seriousness of Covid-19, starting with the CDC's Travel Notice (Level 1 on January 6th; Level 3 on January 27th) and the January 8th CDC Alert to physicians to ask certain patients whether they had been to Wuhan; on January 29th Trump announced his Coronavirus Task Force; on January 31st Trump declared a Public Health Emergency and the State Department issued a Level 4 "Do Not Travel" Advisory for China. And much more, all before the Woodward interviews.
Even these clear simple facts can't be fully appreciated unless one sees them in the context of the deceptions of China and WHO (linked below in my signature) and of
the Dems' Donkey Brayings. Conversely, consider how the public might (mis)perceive Trump's communications and actions given the context of Dems' and Dem-led-cities' public health officials undermining and condemning what Trump communicated and did!
