President Trump Overwhelmed as Thousands of Supporters Chant “We Love You!” at North Carolina Rally (Video)

President Trump was momentarily overwhelmed by the chants of “We Love You!” by thousands of supporters at a rally in Winston-Salem, North Carolina Tuesday night.

Chairman of the GOP in North Carolina Michael Whatley estimated the attendance at 15,000.

The outdoor airport rally was staged on the tarmac of Smith Reynolds Airport, rather than in a hangar. Trump’s previous rally held last week at the Arnold Palmer Airport in Latrobe, Pennsylvania was in a hangar that could only hold a few thousand supporters. That rally had an overflow crowd on a nearby airport property that was larger than the crowd in the hangar. President Trump and his campaign team apparently adjusted their planning to accommodate large airport rally crowds by holding this next rally on the tarmac.

Video of Trump’s arrival posted by Dan Scavino shows the huge crowd on the tarmac. Trump did an unusual long walk to the stage so that he and the people in the back could make direct contact.

And I think he needed this given the reporting of late!!!  I read a story recently saying that his base of supporters are getting lazy and may have to be pushed to the polls.  Hmmm.....  (Head scratcher.)

It's only a head scratcher @HuskyPatriot  if you don't understand the media's role in this election or know who the President is and the bond he has with his expanding base. 

Methinks it's more likely your "hmmm....head scratcher" is a coy way of saying "wink wink, I really hope it's true".

I've never been a fan of coy --- always considered it to be a step beneath duplicitous.

No, Oprah’s followers are a cult. Trump’s voters are America loving, patriots who respect and love Trump for fighting, almost alone against tremendous odds, a dangerous and virulent ideology, socialism. See the difference?

Nope it's more, the head scratching, "where is this coming from??"   Really digging into the bias of the media is new for me btw.  (I'm a late comer.) Thus my sounding unintendingly "coy."

It's not a cult @WhatWouldReaganDo  ... It's Americans who have watched this President battered since he took the oath of office ... and battered from the four corners of our government and the scum of the earth on both sides of the political aisle.  And who, in spite of it, has kept his promises to the American people. 

The media would do well to notice this, unless they're actually plotting to get the President reelected in a 48 state crimson tidal wave.

I sat and watched the entire rally (thanks to your video link) and I actually put the earbuds in to make sure that I was hearing correctly -- yes the crowd chanted "We Love You" and Trump was obviously moved -- an unforgettable moment for him I'm sure.

IMHO it was one of his best rallies.  There is no way that Sloe Joe is going to be able to keep up, nor can he draw the crowds.

Well, I have my Trump sign and flags in my front yard -- I got tired of seeing Biden/Harris signs down the street --- and somehow the Biden signs have mysteriously disappeared.    :shrug:
