@corbe @libertybele When I give an opinion about voters voting, why they vote like they do, some people here think that is how I am going to vote. For years, I studied voting practices in order to help our Texas candidates.
corbe, you said: "I disagree... I just can't believe that in spite of all that's at stake (38EV in Texas) that
my sweetheart, @Victoria33 could ever possibly Vote for biteme. The
'undecided' just won't make the effort to Vote and in Texas and she of all people would know that with her background as an Election Judge."
Thank you, corbe,
for calling me your sweetheart, I will watch for the engagement ring you are sending me (size 6).
corbe, you said: "What I am trying to figure out is why
I would crawl across cut glass to vote for that Orange Man if there is even a smidgen of a chance of him Losing Texas,. He loses Texas it's over anyway." libertybelle, you said, "I also believe that
@Victoria33 is correct, that there is the mindset out there that
anything that happens during Trump's watch as president, he will be blamed, but chances are they weren't going to vote for him anyways. IF they aren't enlightened by now, then they probably never will be."
Here are my comments about the above posts both of you wrote.
1. The
'undecided' just won't make the effort to Vote Yes, the undecided this time will vote due to the pandemic. They will vote Biden.
You see, the pandemic has changed lives forever, and the dead will stay dead. Trump is president and all these people died. We will have less undecided voters this time.
2.
why I would crawl across cut glass to vote for that Orange Man if there is even a smidgen of a chance of him Losing Texas,. He loses Texas it's over anyway." Here is why you need to crawl across cut glass: Yes, if he loses Texas he cannot be elected. Here is why that is possible this time:
You likely do not remember when I posted the number of Texas Democrats voting in the 2018 primary. I was beyond shock. In every primary in Texas, most Democrats tended to not vote in the primary, just vote in the November general election, plus this was not a presidential election and that election has less primary numbers than a presidential year. As I said, I have studied Texas elections, and also noted Republican primary numbers (number voting) and Democrat primary numbers (number voting) in our Texas primary and general election numbers since 1994.
The Texas Democrat number voting in 2018 primary, was many thousands more than had ever voted in a modern times primary. That is why Senator Ted Cruz almost lost that election. I will look up the numbers of Cruz so you can see how close it was.
Now, we have a presidential year election, so the primary numbers will be higher and the general election numbers will be higher.
I have written enough; will get primary election numbers to illustrate what happened to the numbers - will use scientific description of numbers, as in "gobs" of Democrat voters. Always use "gobs" when you don't know the exact number.
