AG Barr isn’t having ‘cheap talk’, sets Wolf Blitzer straight on ‘reckless and dangerous’ mass mail-in voting

U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr blasted “reckless and dangerous†universal mail-in voting that lacks chain-of-custody measures because it is subject to fraud and coercion and equivalent to “playing with fire in a closely divided country.â€
In an interview on CNN’s The Situation Room, Barr had to educate anchor Wolf Blitzer who claimed that there is no widespread fraud associated with mail-in voting.
The AG responded that the U.S. has never conducted vote-by-mail procedures on this massive scale, which even former Democrat President Jimmy Carter warned against.
“Wolf, this is sort of cheap talk to get around the fundamental problem, which is the bipartisan commission chaired by Jimmy Carter and James Baker said back in 2009 that mail-in voting is fraught with the risk of fraud and coercion. And since that time, there have been in the newspapers, in networks, academic studies, saying it is open to fraud and coercion.
