On Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) released a statement via her deputy chief of staff confessing to breaking city lockdown rules to get her hair done indoors at a San Francisco salon on Monday, seemingly without wearing a mask.

Pelosi, however, is not admitting to any wrongdoing, instead shifting blame to the salon she visited.

“The Speaker always wears a mask and complies with local COVID requirements,” said a statement from Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff Drew Hammill, according to FOX KTVU.

Hair salons and barbers are only allowed to pursue their business outdoors! Pelosi violated the shutdown when she had her hair done indoors.

That, too, is a lie, as Pelosi did not deal with the salon owner, but with a hairdresser who rented space from the salon. Not that I'm impressed with, "I shouldn't have got caught!" excuses.
