Biden says he'd consider going to Wisconsin

Democratic nominee Joe Biden said Thursday that he would consider visiting Wisconsin as protests have continued in Kenosha after the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Biden told MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that he would consider traveling, but added he doesn’t “want to become a part of the problem” with the coronavirus pandemic and the spread of the virus.

“I want to make sure that it’s able to be done safely,” the former vice president said, adding “If I were president, I’d be going.”


“If I went, what I’d be doing is try to pull together the Black community, as well as the white community, and sit down and talk and talk about how we get through this,” he added.

Biden: Trump 'rooting for more violence'

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Thursday accused President Trump of "rooting" for violence the amid unrest in Kenosha, Wis., following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

"He’s rooting for more violence, not less. And he’s clear about that. And what’s he doing, he’s pouring more gasoline on the fire," Biden said on MSNBC.

The former vice president argued that Trump views an escalation in bloodshed as politically beneficial, citing comments from White House counselor Kellyanne Conway earlier in the day in which she told Fox News that "the more chaos and anarchy and vandalism and violence reigns, the better it is for the very clear choice on who’s best on public safety and law and order."

Sorry, Joe, it can't be done safely. Only Antifa protesters from Portland can travel to Wisconsin safely, it's a proven fact.

Best stay in the basement and have some more tapioca. Good boy.
