Barack Obama: Joe Biden Goals ‘Not that Different’ from Bernie Sanders

Former President Barack Obama said in a recent interview that former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) had the same goals, despite appearing ideologically different.

“If you look at Joe Biden’s goals and Bernie Sanders’s goals, they’re not that different, from a forty-thousand-foot level,” Obama said. “They both want to make sure everybody has health care. They want to make sure everybody can get a job that pays a living wage. They want to make sure every child gets a good education.”

Obama discussed his former vice president’s campaign during an interview with The New Yorker writer Evan Osnos at the former president’s home in Martha’s Vineyard this Summer.

Obama’s comments challenge the Biden campaign’s efforts to combat the argument from President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign that Biden is just as much as a leftist socialist as Sanders.

I'm going to be honest. The Dems wanted Kamala to win. Not Biden.  To them Biden is just a placeholder for Kamala. Why would Obama say anything like that.

Obama just threw the old Democrat Party (meaning all the way back to 2008) under the bus. They are gone. They no longer exist. Obama has proudly declared the New Socialist/Fascist/Islamic Democrat Party. Old Moderates no longer have a place here in what is being called by the old name "Democrats". Democrats are now something completely different, with the new young revolutionaries. Viva la Revolución!

Oh, how sweet is the manna from heaven.  Obama just burned down Biden's campaign.  The question is why?  The only thing I can think of is that should Biden win, he lowers Obama's prestige moving into the future.  No Biden, and Obama remains the most recent former POTUS, and that garners him some prestige among the Democommies, now that they are transitioning over to full communism.  It is about power, and Obama still wants it.

How sweet.   This just cost Joe Clueless 2% of the vote in November.  I hope Trump runs an ad comparing Joe Clueless to Bernie and has the hammer and sickle in the background while Obama speaks.  You want communism, go ahead, vote for Joe Clueless.
