House Republicans allege Democrats are fabricating USPS crisis
By Juliegrace Brufke - 08/17/20 03:37 PM EDT

House Republicans are blasting Democrats’ calls for Congress to pass billions in additional funding for the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), accusing them of pushing a “baseless conspiracy theory” about cost-cutting measures hindering mail-in ballot delivery.

“Democrats have no shame. They are pushing conspiracy theories about the USPS to undermine faith in the election and distract from their own failures,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) tweeted.

“Whether Americans choose to vote in-person or vote absentee, I have full confidence in the integrity of our electoral process.”

Dems wanted $3.5 billion to "help" the USPS handle ballots.

There were about 120 million ballots cast in 2016. That's about $29 for EVERY BALLOT they'd handle IF EVERYONE voted by mail that voted in 2016...

That's a hell of a postal rate increase!

Plus 70¢ in postage paid by the voter (or the voter's State).
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"Democrats have no shame."  Republicans have no will.
