Joe Biden has selected climate activist and Green New Deal devotee Sen. Kamala Harris as his running mate. (See: Biden picks California Senator Kamala Harris as VP nominee)  Harris has been a staunch advocate for climate change and a big booster of the Green New Deal.

In 2019, Harris promoted the Green New Deal as a way “we can change human behaviors.”
