Joe's problem is that THE THING will be in his way. He has difficulty completing a sentence, so we will hear expressions like THE THING.
The problem with the VP selection is that no matter who he selects, his candidacy goes down hill. He backed himself into a corner by declaring his running mate will be female and African American. EVERY possible person he could select has issues. EVERY one of them.
Kamala Harris .........did poorly in POTUS effort. Does not bring Electoral College potential being from CA,
poor record on black crime, etc., quick to support Smolett, so idiot factor high
Stacey Abrams .......could not win GA governor race, single issue politician, that every election a Dem
loses is because of voter suppression. Major idiot issues. Big as a barn, porn author
Rep Bass ................please, avowed communist. Worshiped Fidel Castro. Beyond major idiot issues.
Mayor Lance Bottoms .....tied to prior mayor who was facing corruption charges. Turned against police
in ATL, major unrest in her city, people being shot to death. No accomplishments
Susan Rice .............notorious liar/spokesperson for Obama. Only does things in her best interest. From
DC, no Electoral College boost. No proven enhancement for campaigning
Rep Val Demming ...was on committee to impeach POTUS, impeachment failed miserably. However, from
Florida, so might bring Electoral College boost and help win Florida. Former police
chief in Orlando, but seen as being non-supportive of black criminals. Relative no
name, but high on my list to be considered.
Michelle Obama ......no question, Biden would welcome her if she agreed to do it. The question is, will
she/he do it? Frankly, I think she falls into the category of the Bushes, Clintons and
now Obamas, where America had enough of all of them and want someone else.
Plus, she literally has zero experience other than being first lady, never been elected
to anything, never had a job per se that was not gratis.
So, any one of these, and it creates issues for him in my humble opinion, and he polls lower as November approaches. Everyone assumes he will do poorly in debates, but he might just surprise some. Trump on the other hand has had no debates so far, although the Covid news briefings should prepare him for just about anything. The media has been horrible in their efforts in that regard,
I say it is Biden Demming in November. He needs Florida, and she is the only candidate that represents a state he needs. He has to win Florida to win.
