Pompeo perplexed by Senator Feinstein’s support of China: ‘There’s something not quite right’

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo thinks there is something “not quite right†about Sen. Dianne Feinstein after her comments on China.
Pompeo called out the California Democrat during an interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, admitting her recent remarks about China were “perplexing†and that denials of moves against the U.S. by the Chinese government are just “crazy talk.â€

Error 404 (Not Found)!!1Feinstein praised China last week during a Senate Judiciary Committee meeting, saying it is “growing into a respectable nation†as she argued against a bill, the “Civil Justice for Victims of COVID Act,†which would allow people to sue China over its handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We hold China as a potential trading partner, as a country that has pulled tens of millions of people out of poverty in a short period of time, and as a country growing into a respectable nation amongst other nations. I deeply believe that,†Feinstein said, once again defending China while apparently turning a blind eye to reports of human rights abuses carried out by the communist government.
