Susan Rice's 'Benghazi baggage,' F-bombs would make her 'lightning rod' as Biden VP pick, writer claims
Former Obama aide could become a distraction as Biden tries to reach voters, columnist says
By Brie Stimson | Fox News

Former national security adviser Susan Rice would be a “human lightning rod” if selected to be Democrat Joe Biden’s running mate, a Washington Post columnist wrote Friday.

Rice, who is reported to be among the shrinking list of Biden vice presidential contenders, has the advantage of a longstanding close relationship with the former vice president, unlike any of the other names on the list.

But Biden's want for “familiarity and comfort” are luxuries the nation doesn’t have time for in this singular time of crisis, Post columnist Dana Milbank writes.

Despite Rice’s impressive resume -- Rhodes scholar, Oxford, U.N ambassador, national security adviser -- she has serious Benghazi baggage and a polarizing ability to make fast enemies. She had to withdraw from consideration as former President Barack Obama's secretary of state because she was unlikely to get the Senate confirmation votes, Milbank writes.

If she joined the Biden ticket, Milbank writes, she would be a distraction for the Democrats in a time when voters want calm -- and would be an easy target for Republicans.

Susan Rice is a potty-mouthed lightweight. She'll crumble in the public eye.

I dons't mind the potty-mouth aspect so much.... as I mind her lying, pro-terrorist, radical leftist, blood on her hands, typical Democrat scum aspect.

Interesting that this play-down of Rice is appearing in the Washington Post.

That's one-third of the new American Comintern Troika (the other two being the New York Times [in the #1 slot] and CNN [in slot 3]).

When you see "news" appear there, you jes' know that it's "coming down from the top"...

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

Rice doesn't complement Biden's strengths, and is unknown as a campaigner.    Harris doesn't add anything to the ticket; California is in the bag and she isn't African American.  Warren would play right into Trump's narrative that the Dems are extremists.   If the Dems are smart,  they'll tap Val Demings.   That will undercut Trump's law and order theme and be a signal that Biden's not beholden to the radical left.   Meanwhile she can flip Florida into the Dem column.

Neither is Obama (under the strictest criteria).
I am quite certain that black people consider Kamala to be "black." Some black men might have an issue with her choice of husband but that is neither here nor there.

Myself, I am curious as to how Indian-Americans regard her.

Biden has no strengths to complement.

and is unknown as a campaigner.

So is Biden.

Her mother was born in India, so I'm not sure how that will be assessed by the voters and her father is Jamaican (not African-American) and is a naturalized citizen. All things considering I don't know if she'll be viewed as "black".
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

A few weeks back, Tim Scott ripped into critics who were labeling him a GOP "token" by pointing out that Democrats only had two black senators themselves. Obviously, Scott was talking about Harris and Cory Booker.  Harris went to one of the most historic black colleges and she is a member of the most revered African-American sorority. Her blackness isn't the issue.

The issue is that she is a scheming, disingenuous, manipulative bitch. She is not inherently likable.

But, if she is on the ticket, tearing open Trump a new orifice everyday via soundbites, that will be a minor qualm that is forgiven by Dem voters.

So it appears both Susan Rice and Cameltoe Harris have both had face lifts recently, obviously their hair doesn't smell like antibiotics, yet.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Maybe she'll be viewed as the descendent of slave owners.
