Houston restaurants offer deals to mark tequila day with the return of the baseball season this Friday.It’s safe to say that Friday, July 24, is shaping up to be a good day in Houston. Friday marks National Tequila Day, one of those flimsy “food holidays†that seems to exist for no apparent reason. In Houston, every day is tequila day, so make of it what you will.
Friday also starts the beginning of the Houston Astros’ 2020 season with a lineup of weekend games. The return of MLB and Tequila Day is a happy coincidence, but one that will have special resonance in Houston. Here are some deals for both:
NATIONAL TEQUILA DAY
The Original Ninfa’s: National Tequila Day is marked at both the Navigation and Uptown locations with $1 Ninfaritas (normally $9) all day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Frozen or on the rocks for dine-in customers only. Goode Co.: Individual Damn Goode Margaritas ($16, double) and Damn Goode Margarita Kits ($40, makes 6) are available at various Goode Co. restaurants, including Goode Co. Seafood, Goode Co.
