U.S. stock-index futures headed sharply higher early Monday to start the first full week of trade in July, with investors pegging at least part of the bullishness emanating from Wall Street to a powerful rally in China.

However, Monday’s upbeat mood in the market contrasts with a continuing spike in cases of coronavirus in the U.S.

An observation on my part.  I am seeing quite a trend in portfolio  the paring off of divys of many of my MF's focusing on VC. Small and Mid Caps.  Large Caps, not so much so far, due to less real time earnings statements and reporting. I see this as a warning sign that  equity price numbers may  not be sustainable.  The teeter-totter of which weighs heavier....   Valuations driven by speculative buyers, vs.  the real world profits and losses is going to be critical in the next few weeks.  Now add the specter (correct or not) of Biden leading strongly in the polls.  I am not so bullish as I was a few weeks to a month ago.

Dear Mr. Trump, and the rest of the GOP....

Tesla is approaching a quarter of a trillion in market cap, is now the most valuable auto company in the world.  Is it okay now if we stop the f__kin US Taxpayer subisidized payments to Musk and his Whale Sized Boondogle?!$!$!$

never mind just Tesla, what about every other business?

People harp on about the Democrats being socialists, but in reality the GOP is just as bad when it comes to giving out money, it’s just the GOP do it to corporations (and Democrats do it to both). As bad as each other when it comes to spending tax payers money.
