Wow.  Had the mayor "cleared" the protesters from Wendy's, perhaps the 8 year-old girl would still be alive.  She should "clear" the protesters from Atlanta, period!!  Yet even after this girl died, the mayor is still defending the movement!

After a night of a dozen shootings, including one in which an 8-year-old girl was killed, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms on Sunday said protesters could no longer occupy the Wendy’s where a police officer shot and killed Rayshard Brooks last month.

The girl, identified by police as Secoriea Turner, was killed not far from the scene where Brooks was shot on June 12, Atlanta’s Fox 5 reported, citing police.

Police said Turner was riding in a car with her mother and another adult when a group fired multiple times at the vehicle, hitting the girl...............

Turner died at a nearby hospital. No suspects have been identified. Police were investigating.

“Now we are demanding action for Secoriea Turner, and all other people who were shot in Atlanta last night,” Bottoms said during a Sunday-night news conference. “Enough is enough. If you want people to take us seriously and you don’t want us to lose this movement, we can’t lose each other.”

This is insanity.  We have a mayor who allowed this to happen -- a business to be taken over.  Where is the governor?  If neither are willing to act, then where is our President??

What this clearly demonstrates for all to see, is that these places can be 'cleared' by the mayor and governor in no time, when they want to. They just don't want to. The same thing happened with CHOP in Seattle. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing...then a couple of people die and suddenly out of a clear blue sky these places get cleared.

That's why I say it is setup for Trump, and for the Police. The mayors and governors could clear these places easily, and they do when they want to. The fact that they allow them to fester and metastasize for weeks is intentional, as they have clearly shown. When they decide to clear these places, it happens in one day.

However, I wouldn't be to quick to think that they just went away, went home and are never going to be seen again.  They will regroup and concentrate their efforts elsewhere.  The concern is what is going to happen when it's just not a group here and there but multiple groups throughout the country at once in not just the inner cities but venturing into more "conservative" areas.  That's the push.  They want a war.  They want resistance.  These are obviously far from peaceful protests.

Does Trump nip things in the bud now or does he wait till we have a full blown civil war??  A war that perhaps could have been avoided?

There is a fine line between enforcing the law and tyranny. Anything Trump does will be portrayed as the latter, regardless of fact. Ever see the movie Wargames?  Sometimes the only way to win is not to play.

Until the Black community cries out for something to be done to stop this lawlessness, it's on the Mayors and Governors and local LEOs. Sheriffs can deputize as many as they need.
