Nightmare continues after BLM crowd returns to McCloskey’s home; couple waits with armed security

The St. Louis couple who defended their home from Black Lives Matter protesters apparently had armed security on hand to protect them from a planned attack.

Mark and Patricia McCloskey had put out a call for help and told by police that they could not protect them from a planned Black Lives Matter rally targeting their home on Friday. Photos from the Central West End neighborhood showed what seemed like armed security on the couple’s balcony as the mob moved by.

So the McCloskeys are learning more lessons about the consequences of embracing snakes ... and maybe learning about why St. Louis leads major US cities in murders-per-capita.

Reality is what it is. It is not what we believe it to be.

As noble as was the McCloskey's effort to defend their property (the first time), and as right as their cause may be, they are "marked people" now.

Short of erecting a homeowner's version of The Berlin Wall, sooner or later they are going to be attacked with enough force that they may not be able to sufficiently defend themselves against such attack.

These are not poor folks. They have the means to find a safe place elsewhere (even out-of-state if that's where they have to go).

They had best start searching for it.
