Barr Drops Hammer on Four Child Killers, Orders Execution Dates
Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) will resume the executions under Barr's orders

Attorney General William Barr has ordered the dates for executions for four inmates who were convicted of murdering and raping children.

The scheduled executions will be the first federal executions since 2003.

Barr said in a statement:

“The American people, acting through Congress and Presidents of both political parties, have long instructed that defendants convicted of the most heinous crimes should be subject to a sentence of death."

“The four murderers whose executions are scheduled today have received full and fair proceedings under our Constitution and laws,” he said.

“We owe it to the victims of these horrific crimes, and to the families left behind, to carry forward the sentence imposed by our justice system.”

AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.
