The claim that the "OK" sign is a "white Power" sign is dumb. But ignoring that, if you look at the picture in the OP article, you'll see that the guy's thumb is on his ring or middle finger, not his index finger as in the "OK" sign.

My understanding is the formerly 'ok' white power sign, Pepe the Frog, and Boogaloo movement are all made up trolls targeting the mainstream media. There is no organization, movement, loosely formed group behind any of them. Only
people trolling the racially hypersensitive media.

Amid heightened racial tensions across the country, a Mexican-American former employee of San Diego Gas and Electric says he was fired after a stranger accused him on Twitter of making a “white supremacist” hand gesture. The employee, Emmanuel Cafferty, who describes himself as coming from a racially diverse family, expressed dismay at the sequence of events leading to his termination and bafflement over the accusation, explaining that he was simply cracking his knuckles while sitting in his company vehicle and was not even aware that the racially charged symbol existed.

According to NBC 7 San Diego, which first reported on the termination of Cafferty on Monday, the incident all started roughly two weeks earlier at a Black Lives Matter rally held in Poway, a city about 20 miles northeast of San Diego.

If it was a 'White Power' sign than why did so many professional basketball players of color use it so profusely? The OK sign means just that and always has until the racists on left decided they needed another Bogeyman. As a child I used to watch 'Sea Hunt' with Lloyd Bridges, I never knew what a racist Bastard Mike nelson was when he used the OK sign in so many episodes!
