Trump 'will not even consider' renaming Army bases named for Confederate leaders
By Rebecca Kheel - 06/10/20 03:06 PM EDT

President Trump said Wednesday he will "not even consider" renaming Army bases that were named after Confederate military leaders amid reports that military leaders are open to the idea.

In a series of three tweets, Trump argued the bases have become part of U.S. history that should not be “tampered with.”

“These Monumental and very Powerful Bases have become part of a Great American Heritage, and a history of Winning, Victory, and Freedom,” Trump tweeted, adding that “HEROES” who won two world wars were trained on the “Hallowed Grounds” of the bases.

“Therefore, my Administration will not even consider the renaming of these Magnificent and Fabled Military Installations,” Trump continued.

“Our history as the Greatest Nation in the World will not be tampered with. Respect our Military!” he concluded.

This suggests to me that Trump knows at least somewhat of the history of these bases. Several trace back to the expansion of the military under Wilson during WW1. And while I do think Wilson was a racist, many Confederate military leaders had served with distinction during the Mexican-American War.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

When is Congress going to rename the Russel Senate Office Building, named in honor of the Democrat who led the filibuster against the 1964 Civil Rights Act?
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

-Ayn Rand-
