I hope there are enough people with the common sense and the eyes to see that George Floyd was a known criminal, with horrible offenses under his belt, who was fighting with the police. And if you watch the entire video, the police did everything humanly possible to be fair and as gentle as possible with him. It was only at the end when everything they did, didn't work that they had to force him to the ground and pin him there.  And that is common for people who will not comply and who are violent.  The police HAVE to pin people down. It happens all the time.  Of course, none of us want it to result in death, but it can and does happen when people fight and are non-compliant.

George Floyd took his OWN life in his hands when he broke the law, AND more importantly, when he fought with the cops.  YOU CANNOT BLAME THE POLICE FOR YOUR BEHAVIOR RESULTING IN YOUR INJURY OR DEATH.  IT'S YOUR FAULT, NO ONE ELSES.

So regardless of what the popular opinion is, and regardless of how many people, liberals and minorities say it's the cop's fault, it wasn't.  And I am tired of people blaming their bad behavior on other people, cops included.  You cannot be the ones who cause the highest percentage of the problems, then complain that that's how people treat you. It makes no sense.  If you want to stop being treated like criminals, then stop breaking the freaking law. Seems simple enough to me.

I think people do want change, but there are a huge number of people who are thriving on the chaos of the moment, don't mistake that as fighting for justice. This has nothing to do with justice.  Justice is not blaming the police for the consequences you faced by breaking the law.

And I know nobody wants to say it, but how many special programs, special laws, special organizations, special groups, special after-school programs etc. does this particular group need before they start being a part of the community, being a productive member of the community?  After they get all these changes they're pushing for, is anyone telling me that they will suddenly get better grades in school, they'll suddenly start paying attention in school, start going to college, stop breaking the law, stop looting and stealing, stop committing violence in the streets? 

Please tell me what will change?

Nothing will change. Subsidize something and you will get more of it.

George Floyd OD'd. He would have fallen down and died walking down the street. The police tried to take him into custody while he was dying of the overdose. Bad timing on their part.

While the local media portrays Ada Yaeger as "unhoused" and "homeless," she is actually a former college student from Texas, an activist with ties to Marxist groups that are seeking to destroy America.

Two weeks ago, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) and Parks Department, announced that they would be clearing the massive homeless encampment in Cal Anderson Park. The park was the site of the infamous Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) this summer.

Following the announcement of the clearing, activists moved into the park and began to construct barriers to protect their riot staging areas, not the dozens of tents in the park. Though they claimed to be protecting the homeless from SPD, many of those homeless people who were in tents accepted offers of shelter and services from the city and the police. Some of those who had been living in the park even accused the Antifa activists of assaulting them.

Attorneys for Ada Yeager, who had been living at the park, filed a lawsuit and argued that any clearing of the encampments violated her constitutional rights and could result in the damage or seizure of personal property by authorities.   ...

Yaeger was portrayed by the local media as a homeless camper with no other place to go. None of the Seattle media looked into her background or even at her social media profiles where all this was readily available. ...

The BMW driver was reportedly taking his elderly mother to see Christmas lights in Manhattan. The group on bikes were clinging to the car to catch a ride. The driver hit the brakes, causing 1 bicyclist to crash. That’s what apparently sparked the attack.
