Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has further extended the stay-home order, as well as restrictions that have shut down many Michigan businesses to limit the spread of the coronavirus outbreak.
The governor signed two executive orders Friday, May 22 to continue various emergency mandates, including the stay-home order, to June 12, and Michigan’s state of emergency to June 19.
The orders continue the temporary closure of public accommodations such as theaters, gyms, salons and casinos.
