Trump campaign: Biden remarks about black people 'racist and dehumanizing'

President Trump’s reelection campaign blasted former Vice President Joe Biden on Friday for saying that if you support Trump “then you ain’t black,” calling the remarks “racist and dehumanizing.”

“White liberal elitists have continuously dictated which black Americans are allowed to come to the table and have a voice,” said Katrina Pierson, a senior adviser to the Trump campaign and leader of its Black Voices for Trump group.

“It is clear now more than ever, following these racist and dehumanizing remarks, that Joe Biden believes black men and women are incapable of being independent or free thinking. He truly believes that he, a 77-year-old white man, should dictate how black people should behave. Biden has a history of racial condescension and today he once again proved what a growing number of black Americans and I have always known — Joe Biden does not deserve our votes.”

Tim Scott blasts Biden for 'arrogant' remark about black voters

Quote
The South Carolinian, who is the only black Republican in the Senate, said it was disrespectful for Biden to say during an interview Friday that black people who "have a problem" deciding whether to vote for him or President Trump "ain't black."

"That is the most arrogant, condescending comment I’ve heard in a very long time, and that’s saying something," Scott told Fox Business host Stuart Varney on Friday.

Hey ... you stole my favorite line of Sloe Joe's    :rolling:  The trump campaign seriously needs to use that line in one of their anti-Biden ads along with this latest line of "you ain't black".    I'd now like to know if the lying dog-face pony soldier is white or black.  What about the Hispanics?  Certainly he must have a line for them as well.

@LadyLiberty

Not if Dim activists can get laws changed and maybe purposely infect more "captive audiences" like people in nursing homes and hospitals and then demand the quarantine be put back into place.

This flu has been nothing less than an outright GIFT to the DNC because it stopped all campaigns, and Slow Joe could hide at home.

Without a quarantine,they got nothing.

I have a dream that my children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

Nolte: ‘You Ain’t Black’ and Joe Biden’s 10 Other Acts of Racism

John Nolte22 May 2020701
6:15

Joe Biden committed yet another bizarre outburst of virulent racism on Friday morning when he told black America that if they don’t vote for him in November “then you ain’t black.”

As is usually the case, the 77-year-old looked confused and tired during his virtual interview with Charlamagne tha God, co-host of the Breakfast Club, a popular syndicated radio show.

The entire interview was a disaster. Biden slurred his words, lost his train of thought, and looked frail and more than a little out of it. So it would have been an embarrassment even without the racist outburst.

Good heavens, about ten minutes into the 18-minute interview, while speaking primarily about black prisoners, Biden claimed they “can’t read.” After this comment, a Biden aide tried to shut it down. Biden stubbornly refused, and things only went downhill from there.

Without being asked a question that would solicit such a thing, or any question for that matter, Biden just blurted out: “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black!”

Biden's "You ain't black"...manna from heaven for Trump.

Spoke to several black/liberal friends today, and they can't stand him.  But it does not matter, Hillary will ride in on her white horse and save the day.

And who does she pick for VP?  My guess, she goes after the Hispanic vote with Castro, or another Hispanic running mate.

Could be.

But, Hispanics have a dissimilar history from blacks in the Republican Party. There are greater numbers of Hispanics who vote republican, and as a group they are more conservative than blacks.

No matter. Whatever strategic move the hildabeast takes (if she’s even in the position to), she goes down to Trump. He beat her before. He’ll do it again.

It depends.  Did she learn anything from 2016?  If she did, she is a real threat.

Plus, she is light years smarter than Biden, so she uses a couple of pages from the Trump playbook, and she beats him at his own game.

If she focuses on JOBS, the people will listen.  He will own this economic downturn.  She can beat him up on both the virus and the economy.  He is vulnerable.  This is not the record breaking economy he had coming into 2020.  It is the record breaking number of unemployed.  He owns that.  And he is doing nothing to change it much either.

Trump promised Day One of his presidency to end the H1-b Visa Program.  He failed to fulfill this promise.  He met with power brokers in tech and flip flopped, increasing H1-b Visas.  Many of these visas are in Florida and Michigan.  She uses that against him, that will be a major ouch.  It will be about jobs, and who do you trust, the man that destroyed the economy listening to medical folks that were never correct with their data, or someone with a reputation of creating jobs that stick.  She can kick him good and hard.

Marie Harf Says Biden’s Comments Weren’t Racist — Harris Faulkner Says ‘It Doesn’t Need A Label, It’s Just Hurtful’

Marie Harf and Harris Faulkner clashed Friday over comments former Vice President Joe Biden made about black voters.

Biden, during an interview for “The Breakfast Club,” said, “If you don’t know whether you’re for me or Trump, you ain’t black” — and both Harf and Faulkner responded to Biden’s comments during a segment of “Outnumbered.”

“So, this is his senior campaign advisor, Symone Sanders, tweeting, ‘The comments made at the end of the Breakfast Club interview were in jest. Let’s be clear about what the VP was saying. He was making the distinction that he would put his record with the African-American community up against Trump’s any day, period,'” host Melissa Francis began, turning the question to Harf. “Was what he said racist?”

“Well, it definitely was not racist,” Harf replied, adding that she did feel Biden’s comments had been inappropriate and thought that he should probably offer an apology. “We all say things on television or radio interviews that maybe we would like to take back,” she added.

Harf went on to defend Biden’s record with the black community, saying once more that she believed he ought to clarify his remarks.

Francis then turned the question to Faulkner, who disagreed with Harf’s position.

“I’ve been fighting against this notion that you are not black enough unless you think a certain way, you vote a certain way, you speak a certain way, you do certain things,” Faulkner said. “My whole life, I grew up military. Pretty much neutral along the zone of, can’t we all just get along no matter what we look like? I have biracial daughters. Melissa, you know them.”

“This is more than just a little offensive. It is shortsighted, it is a blind spot for this former vice president,” Faulkner continued, saying that Biden should have taken the opportunity to clarify his statement immediately, while the interview was still going on. “He should have gotten up immediately on whatever venue, microphone he had.”
