Should not surprise anyone the Republicans don't want TRUMP. He has exposed to many as the ENEMY and will continue to do so in his next TERM. Republicans are not TRUMP's base of support. Some are but Independents and old not socialists DEMS make up his base. After TRUMP unless it is Don Jr the PUBBIES will put forth a RINO candidate and it will not matter who wins things will go back to Globalists and China. America will be way down on the list and that is already being planned. we will be in lock down to destroy the economy again so we have to become dependent on the GOVT. Both parties want that so they can rule. GOOD news the R party will be destroyed and the American Patriot Party will emerge as the opposition party. This will happen out of necessity and many MILLIONS of Americans being hurt in the process. :crying:

@Longiron

*I* prefer to think the next Republican nominee will be someone not a part of the RINO Borg who is supported by Trump to the point where he campaigns for that nominee.

By then,there should be enough voters in this country with their eyes open to the point where the election of another Globalist is out of the question.

We have been saved by nothing less than a miracle by accident,so why can't our future be saved by careful planning?

@verga

Yup,and one of them is me.

True story. I have been repeating over and over here this whole virus panic is part of a desperate plan by the Dims to bankrupt the economy to the point as many people as possible are out of work and dependent on government checks coming in each month.

Frankly,bankrupting America while Trump is President is the ONLY way they will be able to establish a globalist "Soviet" government in our lifetimes,and they are getting desperate.

I have lately taken to saying out out loud,sometimes maybe a little louder than absolutely necessary,any time I am in public and someone is complaining about the problems caused by the virus.

I start out with "this whole thing was caused by the DNC and their Chinese friends in an effort to steal the upcoming election.",and then work my way up from there.

Been doing this for more than a week now,and I have YET to say it and get any reaction other than a head nod and some version of "I agree".

And these are all people whose politics I know nothing about,and almost all are over 40 and in the prime voting age.

Even I am surprised I got no blowback,and all agreements. I have never before in my entire life made a political statement like that in public and had NOBODY disagree with me.

I would like for those of you who agree with me on this to start doing this yourselves in public places,and then post your feedback here for the rest of us to see.

Rallying support in politics is best done by letting potential voters know you agree with them by stating specific things like this in public in order for the "non-political" people who only vote every 4 years to hear it,and have something to think about.

We need to turn this back on the Dims.

The Chinese government just now threatened the Republican Party, warning that they’re thinking about interfering in the November election if republicans don’t cool the anti China rhetoric.

So, a hostile country openly targets an American election and the news media is mute! But, mention Russia and the press breaks into a chorus of Trump’s a Russian agent.

DNC = CCP

The Rats must maintain the "Trump is a Russian asset!" fiction, because the moment they concede he's not, the entire house of cards that was a supposed counter-espionage investigation collapses.  They've been saying they would not give Trump any notice of the "investigation" by the FBI because it would tip off Trump, the Russian asset.

Trump's doing much better than he did in 2016, wouldn't you say?

Ask me after how much of this $3T boondoggle gets passed.

You  are speaking for yourself, of course.

Well, if you believe this poll (which I don't), I'm not the only one.  Or you can simply ask a few other members here.

I am not one of those people. The only one *I* would like to see as the US president in place of Trump is ME, and I am not so sure you would like that.

Let's just say "there would be some changes made."

You old goat.  You wouldn't last 5 minutes as president -- well, unless you were like Trump and Obama, spending all your time goofing off.  Real presidents actually WORK at the job.

Changes?  Nah.  Sadly the *bleep* that goes on in DC has been going on for a long time.  it is permanently entrenched; it will never change.

However, I am curious what changes you would like to make.  Locking up us Never Trumpers -- the enemies of the state?  LOL  Good luck with that.

Most republicans are shrewd enough to figure out the forces at play here and their motives.

Nikki Haley.  Marco Rubio.  Just to name two who are widely assumed to have the ambition.   They are certainly capable of doing a better job -  even if a "better job" is defined merely as being an advocate for the Republic and the opportunity economy without alienating half the voters before the first vote is cast.

And there's that Congressman (darn if I can remember his name as I type this) who so effectively stood up to Schiff and his Star Chamber. Or Ron DeSantis in Florida or Brian Kemp in Georgia.  Or my own particular favorite (besides Nikki), Sen Pat Toomey.  It is a failure of the imagination to contend that "after Trump, the deluge".   There is talent up and down the national and state GOPs.

The better contention is that after Trump's inevitable defeat, the deluge.    Trump has crippled himself with half the electorate,  and his way to re-election is as dicey as a Vegas crap game.  Trump's legacy may well be the triumphant, radicalized Democratic party he has energized in his wake.

Count me as one of the 23 percent.   When a car is hurtling straight into a ditch,  I say TURN THE WHEEL

This $3T boondoggle will be passed by a House vote, and that's it.

It will get past the senate too...after Turtle and his band of merry moderates water down the most odious parts to a more "manageable" $$$ amount.  Then they'll pass it and Trump will happily sign it.

It's what's happened with the first two bills.  Why should anyone expect things to change on this bill?

Ok, I won't argue the fact that polls have proven to be unreliable, but who does the GOP have that would be wiling to step up to the plate and is capable of doing a better job than Trump?  Name one person.  I can't think of anyone.

@libertybele

Jebby needs a job,and he would reunite all the RINO voters.

Trump is possibly the hardest working president ever. You’re right people on our side should refrain from muddying the waters with their emotional effluvium.

We’ve got a seminal election to win against a corrupt democrat/media party, for heaven’s sake. We are just mere inches away from losing the America we all remember and love, and here some people still want to crow about being right about orange man.

Addendum. ...and to lump Trump in the same sentence as Obama shows a clear lack of political acumen and possibly intellectual honesty.

Maybe they are afraid that Pelosi's husband,in his role as the attorney for the Chinese Government in the US will sue them?

BTW,there MAY be just a WEE bit of a hint of conflict of interest in that relationship.

Remember too that Jazzy isn't Republican of any flavor.  So of course he's going to support anyone or anything that will make the GOP worse and not better.
