Hundreds say they haven't been sent an unemployment check in weeks, despite receiving funds initially

Hundreds of people on social media have reported that the State of Florida stopped sending out unemployment checks to people who had already been approved.

A new trend has popped up, revealing that people who previously received checks appear to no longer be receiving them for two weeks or more —  and claimants are asking what happened to their money.

The Department of Economic Opportunity isn’t saying, although NBC-2 reached out to them early Monday with questions. A DEO spokesperson said she would research the questions, but never she never sent a follow-up response.......

.....“There’s obviously been a complete meltdown inside of the DEO, starting with the governor all the way down to the call center,” Democrat Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried said.

That is just one reason Fried is calling on the entire agency to be investigated.

“Even when the governor last year received an audit report also showing there was all these problems with the system, and yet it doesn’t appear anything was done since then,” Fried said...........

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
