California Governor Reveals Plan to Give $500 in Cash to Illegal Aliens

California taxpayers will be forced to subsidize illegal aliens even more than they already are after the governor announced the state will issue cash payments to them as part of the state’s Chinese coronavirus recovery plan.

On Wednesday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced the state would give 150,000 illegal alien adults a cash payment of $500, which will cost California taxpayers $75 million. Private charities including the Emerson Collective, the Blue Shield of California Foundation, the California Endowment, the James Irvine Foundation, and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative have committed to providing the remaining $50 million of the program’s cost.

“We feel a deep sense of gratitude for people that are in fear of deportations that are still addressing essential needs of tens of millions of Californians,” said Newsom, who noted that 10 percent of the state’s workforce is made up of immigrants living in the country illegally. It should be noted that even working in the country is illegal for illegal aliens.
