Not sure what they mean by 'positive residents', but if you add 'positive residents' to 'deaths' you get a number higher than 'number of cases'.
Positive residents are the number of people that actually reside in FL, total cases includes those people who don't technically live in FL, or are seasonal and have a home elsewhere. They have been tested in FL and therefore counted among the total testing positive for the virus. So, using the latest figures there are 666 (eerie) people who have tested positive in FL, that are here but are either visiting or seasonal residents.
Deaths are deaths.
Deaths are deaths they aren't in addition to the total number of cases that have tested positive. Out of the total number of those that have tested positive, using the latest figures -- 668 have died. So, we are seeing a 2.8% death rate of those who have tested positive, based on the figures that have been reported to the FL Dept. of Health.
I don't know how many tests have not been processed, I do know that there was a complaint in my county, that after 2 weeks, someone had not received their test results.
IMHO these figures are very conservative.
