House Democrats introduce bill giving coronavirus aid to illegal immigrants

House Democrats introduced legislation Friday that would allow illegal immigrants to receive money from the coronavirus relief package.

California Rep. Lou Correa and two other lawmakers introduced the Leave No Taxpayer Behind Act that would amend the $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus package, according to the Daily Caller.

“I was appalled to learn hardworking, taxpaying immigrants were left out of the $2 trillion CARES Act,” Correa said in a statement Friday.

“By casting out immigrants, we are placing some of our most vulnerable residents in grave danger. Every individual taxpayer, irrespective of citizenship status, needs government assistance now.”

Several Democrats have expressed dismay that the initial coronavirus relief package didn’t include financial benefits for illegal immigrants, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who called it “inhumane.”

“To clarify, $1200 checks are ONLY going to some w/social sec numbers, NOT immigrants w/ tax IDs (ITINs),” the New York congresswoman said on Twitter. “Thanks to GOP, these checks will be cut off the backs of *taxpaying immigrants,* who get nothing. Many are essential workers who pay more taxes than Amazon.”

The sad,sad truth is we only have two options as regards illegal aliens,who are NOT "immigrants". They are CRIMINAL INVADERS.

Option number 1. Treat them in special holding centers to keep them from spreading the disease,and the INSTANT they are declared well,deport their asses.

Option number 2. Deny them all treatment,and watch as they spread the disease.

We do NOT have to give them money,a visa,or citizenship to treat them if they are in a holding center.

And,if they get sick and die because they refused to turn themselves in,there is no one to blame for this but themselves.

I don't think this has anything to do with healthcare, which the illegals generally get better free care than Citizens and legal residents pay for. It's about giving them the same cash assistance $1200 per adult and $500? per child. Once again the socialist democrats want to gift illegals with money they should have no right to.
