Thanks Pookie.

I’m nominating the one with the man turning off the TV as the best so far for 2020.

Adopt a puppy or kitty from your local shelter
Or an older dog or cat. They're true love❤️

Gefn is right, of course.  I would like to also nominate the first cartoon in this column as an example!   :patriot:

Also would like to mention that my local thoughtful supermarket (Giant) has announced a change of operating hours to accommodate us old folks.  They will open from 5 am to 6 am on Thursdays to accommodate those over 60.  I don't think they have toilet paper though.   :rolling:

Almost forgot...….. thanks, Pookie!   :beer:

You're welcome, @conservativevoter!

One of my local supermarkets is doing something similar.

@Gefn

Re your liking of a certain cartoon...it's a good cartoon & at least one similar one is coming either tom'w. or Fri. However, as far as "cartoon of the year" is concerned there's a method in place for the January voting thread. The monthly voters select their top 15 cartoons of the month & after 12 months the resulting 180 images comprise the prelim round of voting in January. So, if that cartoon makes it to that round, you can vote for it then.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
