    Former VP took lion's share of delegates out of Michigan
    Big win in Missouri

Bernie Sanders chose not to give a speech Tuesday night after getting an electoral drubbing from Joe Biden in Michigan, Missouri and other states.

It was a defeat that one of his most prominent supporters, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, did not deny.

'Let's talk about it. Someone says tell us it'll be ok. There's no sugar coating it, tonight's a tough night, for the movement overall,' the first-term lawmaker and left wing firebrand said in a video live-feed posted to her Instagram account. 'Tonight's a tough night electorally,' she added.

Bernie Sanders said at a press conference Wednesday that he will not suspend his presidential campaign after a second consecutive week of bruising primary losses to Joe Biden, telling reporters that he looks forward to Sunday's one-on-one debate.

Why it matters: Sanders' path to the nomination narrowed significantly after Biden built up his delegate lead in most of the states that voted Tuesday — including the key prize of Michigan, where Sanders' surprise win over Hillary Clinton in 2016 gave him a needed boost of momentum.

What he's saying: "What became even more apparent yesterday is that while we are currently losing the delegate count — approximately 800 delegates for Joe Biden and 660 for us — we are strongly winning in two enormously important areas which will determine the future of our country," Sanders said.

Former VP Joe Biden, struggling with aging, will be on stage to mess up publicly, or to have a good night.

Should 77 yr old Biden, have a bad night, it will clear the path for recent heart attack  patient, 78 yr old Sanders.

So for now the bottom line: The dem nominee, will be one of these two.

Bill Kristol has selected Biden, on behalf of "conservative" #nevertrumpism.

I'm anticipating the most bizarre debate ever, where one candidate has a massive heart attack and drops dead in the middle of a finger-jabbing diatribe against billionaires, and the other responds, "That's what I'm talking about, when the furry leg hair ... the thing about when a little girl who smells so good ... uh, uh ... potato salad is real nice at a picnic. Except the ants. Wait, stop."

Nope. I strongly disagree. They are using the remaining days that Biden is with us here on Earth to push Sanders out and to protect him from prosecution for his admitted (and bragged about) extortion of the Ukrainian government.
 
Once Sanders is gone, the DNC will either replace Biden outright with their choice, or the DNC will pick a VP for Biden who they know full well will be the 'real' candidate and will in very short order become President.

Biden will not be even semi-coherent by election day.

There are just under 600 delegates up for grabs next Tues the 17th. I see Bernie getting smoked in all those contests.

The only point of the Bern staying in at this point is concessions at convention in exchange for delegates, like a VP pick or whatever.
