The media are claiming that President Donald Trump called the coronavirus a "hoax" while speaking at a campaign event in South Carolina on Friday.
 

But video of Trump's remarks show otherwise.

Ann Althouse also has the full video context and transcript, https://althouse.blogspot.com/2020/02/the-deceptiveness-of-politicos-claim.html . She's somewhat of a Trump non-fan, so Progs will have a hard time dismissing her blog as a "Reich-Wing Source" (a phrase used on Democratic Underground).

That said, many in the MSM are spreading this lie, so be prepared to retort if you have Prog friends/coworkers/acquaintances. :pop41: time!
