'Highest levels' of Democrats trying to prevent 'down-ballot massacre' of Bernie Sanders-led ticket: Columnist

RealClearPolitics editor and columnist A.B. Stoddard reported that Democratic leaders at the "highest levels" are trying to thwart a situation in which Sen. Bernie Sanders wins the Democratic nomination.
Stoddard addressed the concerns that many centrist Democrats are having over a potential Sanders-led ticket during an interview with Fox News's Andrew Napolitano on his Fox Nation show, Liberty File.
"They've found themselves now with a strong movement leader who's amassing a lot of support and is marching towards the nomination," she said, according to Fox News. "It's clear that they're making plans to stop him, but it's going to cause chaos and much more division than the party is suffering from now."
Stoddard then added that the conversations are happening at the "highest levels" of the party after being asked if former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were involved.
