Pelosi says she'd be comfortable with Sanders at top of ticket
By Marty Johnson - 02/26/20 10:53 AM EST

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Wednesday said she would be comfortable with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) as the Democratic presidential nominee in November.

The congresswoman was asked the question as she was leaving a closed-door meeting in the House basement Wednesday morning.

She replied with one word: "Yes."

Other congressional Democrats have balked at the idea of Sanders, a longtime independent and self-proclaimed democratic socialist, being the party's nominee in the general election.

Most of the GOP said the same thing when Clinton donor and birther Donald Trump won the nomination.  The rats will get over it if Bernie wins...or be purged from the Party.

The problem Pelosi is facing is she wants to remain Speaker...otherwise she would surely distance herself from her party's leading Presidential candidate during the America Presidential race.

Plus she hates President Trump...that could also be factor in this breaking news.

I phoned my friends.  Both of them said they were shocked Pelosi would be so bold.  Needless to say Pelosi will not get my support in 2020, nor any support from my friends.  Start the tabulation...3 "no"s from the voters of WI.

Trump does have something that works to his advantage that he didn’t have in 2016 and that’s the power of incumbency
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

No doubt about that, although I think Sanders at top of the ticket is also an advantage, but I don't understand rat voters.
If I had to put money on the election today, I'd put it on President Trump, and I think he is hoping for a Sanders nomination.  I would be if I was him.

Still Pelosi declaring acceptance of Sanders is a no-brainer.  Distancing herself from Sanders would be an actual story worth printing.

What choice does she have?  Right now, Sanders is leading the race within the Democommie Party.

As Trump said today, she is incompetent.  He is 100% right about that.  I would not trust one word from her lips.

Outstanding news.  Her support can bring him down.

She said she was comfortable with Hillary at the top of the ticket too in 2016.
