Appearing Sunday on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” Voto Latino CEO María Teresa Kumar said Democrats could “kiss Florida goodbye” if Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) was the Democrats nominee in the 2020 presidential election.

Kumar said, “We can all agree is you can kiss Florida goodbye. I say that Floridians — Latinos that have fled socialism, they have fled and they are in Florida, and they have sensibilities that are different from the rest of the Latino community.”

She added, “You pare that down with a lot of the more conservative folks that are Democrats in Florida, and I don’t see a pathway for him there. That’s just the beginning. I can tell you right now Donald Trump has been targeting folks on my staff since March of last year with an anti-democratic socialist message in Spanglish, English, and Spanish. They are not leaving anybody behind. People don’t realize there’s a socialization happening on the Trump campaign that’s been very effective.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been in that south Florida area but anti-Castro sentiment was still pretty strong.

This isn’t just one slip up by Bernie Sanders because he’s tired being on the campaign trail.  This is a long history of Bernie Sanders being sympathetic to oppressive socialist regimes

He claims he just likes the Scandinavia model but the Scandinavian model. But even embracing the Scandinavian models welfare state has for the most part been met with a lot of skepticism by Americans

The Bernie model is Scandinavia 1970s or modern Greece

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

I  hadn't even thought about that, but it is true that the "Spanish" refugees living in Florida have NOTHING in common with the illegal aliens coming up through Mexico, other than language.
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!
