NJ Gov. Phil Murphy Announces He Has Tumor on Left Kidney/Updated

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy announced he has a tumor on his left kidney.

Murphy, 62, made the announcement on Twitter Saturday evening and said he would undergo a partial nephrectomy in early March to remove it.

While I’m not a fan of Gov Murphy,I   Truly  hate cancer. Get well Governor Murphy.

Hopefully the tumor is isolated and not spread. I'd wish painful cancer on a Stalin; certainly not on someone I probably differ from politically. I pray he does well and spends a little extra time with his family while recuperating.

Update

Gov Murphy had the surgery and came out ok.

Gov. Phil Murphy's surgery to remove a tumor from his kidney was a success, according to Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver.

The governor announced on Feb. 22 that his doctor had discovered a tumor on his left kidney and that he would have a partial nephrectomy in Manhattan.

Oliver, who is serving as acting governor during Murphy's recovery, said in a written statement Murphy is resting at a hospital in Manhattan.

My only question is, why did you go Manhattan? You have two top notch hospitals near the Governors mansion! Princeton Hospital , (hey, it was the hospital on “House”) and Robert Wood Johnson hospital in New Brunswick. (Yeah their parking stinks but very good hospital)
