I'm sorry to hear about your friends @Smokin Joe   Cancer is an awful way to die

But in addition to his comments on treating cancer in later life, Bloombox also told us what he would support doing:  "We'll stop the bleeding".  Everything else is either a "no" or to the back of the line and wait.   And this is just what he admits to.

This guy's a monster.

Aren't all radical leftists monsters, though?  They put agenda over everything... literally.

 They place their desire for control over the rest of us above everything. If Bloomberg is told at age 95 that he has cancer, he would have a full expectation of being treated.  He just wants to deny us of that option.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

-Ayn Rand-

I'll just leave this here:

We should all be so lucky to get to 95 and be told we have cancer.

Three years ago, at 90 my MIL underwent surgery for a rare cancer. She lasted 30 days. Al treatment was covedred by her Blue Shield 65 plus.

Last month my Mother died at 95, at home under paliative hoospice care, her choice.. All care was covered by her Blue Shield 65 plus.

My wife and I are also on Blue Shield 65 plus, and have likewise not been denied any care.

Did this news, get you wound up?

@catfish1957

It's not like he has ever had to worry about having enough money to pay his medical bills. Or even sees any of them. A million bucks is petty cash to him as long as it is money being spend ON him.

@sneakypete

You got that right.  He can be all kind of loosey goosey on standards of elderly health care, as long as he is self insured.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Nice analysis!

The only exception is if they will personally be affected in a negative way, then the rules don't apply.

The problem is once everyone became dependent on health insurance individual control began slipping away. There's no way back from this problem. Health care costs have exploded with technological improvements, drug costs and govt. oversight. If we continue expanding govt subsidized insurance we will end up much closer to a UK system than an American system, then we will see cancer survival rates drop 35-40% just like the UK.

@bilo

Not to mention importing 3rd world refugees into our cities and packing them in public housing so Dims get votes. These people have never had medical care before,and have all sorts of medical problems that have never been addressed.

AND,of course,WE are paying for their "free" medical care.

Not just in our tax dollars, but in every medical bill we pay, taking up slack for those who did not.
