Sen. Cotton: China Covering Up Info On Coronavirus

Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., on Sunday accused China of covering up the origin and severity of the new fast-spreading coronavirus.
In an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Cotton said the United States must “get to the bottom” of suspicions that the virus is linked to a nearby lab that researches infectious diseases.

“They have not been transparent at all, and they need to be,” Cotton said of China, where COVID-19 first broke out.
There’s been “a pattern of Chinese dishonesty from the very beginning which continues to this very day,” he charged.

“Just a few days ago we went from a situation where they were reporting only a couple hundred more cases to almost 14,000 cases in a single day,” he said. “That wasn't the result of a scientific discovery, that was a political decision to finally reveal what they knew to be true. Yet they are still covering up and in all likely another the number of cases and deaths of coronavirus inside of China.”

President Trump gushed Friday over how China’s authoritarian government is handling the deadly coronavirus outbreak.

In a pre-dawn tweet, Trump praised Chinese President Xi Jinping for its action against the virus — even though critics say Xi’s Communist regime sought to cover up the spread of the virus and squelch dissenting voices instead of fighting it in an open and transparent manner.

AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

A high price to pay but hopefully this will bring China's communist party to an end.

They've been lying since the get-go of this. The rest of the world shouldn't parrot their lies as if it were the truth. It clearly isn't.
