Cannot see Hillary playing second banana to Bloomberg or anyone else for that matter.  On the other hand, maybe being VP might be less taxing on her health.

Honestly though I think Hillary's presidential aspirations are over.  She will be grooming the daughter for political office.

@Applewood

While Howdy Doody was popular with children 50 years ago,the younger voters of today and the illegal votes have never heard of him,so why would they vote for Bubbette! Jr?

Besides,there is nothing in being "the first female president,once removed" for Bubbette! Now,if SHE could be the VP and then arrange to have Howdy whacked after an appropriate waiting time (90 seconds or so),she might sign on to it,but that's it.

Not gonna happen. Chelsea has all the personal appeal of a sea sponge. And soaking up contributions to the Clinton Foundations is all she'll ever be good for.

Can't happen.  Bloomberg and Clinton are from the same State.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

-Ayn Rand-

@skeeter

To put it as bluntly as possible,she's not very smart and we know this because she had to change majors to keep from flunking out of a left coast college while her parents were in the WH,and she is now married into one of the most financially powerful banking families in the world and has seats on several boards she never sits in on. In short,she is a laundry lady.

Yes.  The President and VP can be from the same state. The electoral college does come into play though; Electoral College voters, can not cast both of their votes for two people from their home state.

Twelfth Amendment:

The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate; --   ....

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

The rumor going around is that Bloomberg will change his official residence to one of the out-of-state homes he owns to get around the same state issue.

But all of this is rumor.  Frankly, I don't buy any of it.
