Michigan State Becomes A Sanctuary Campus
By Ryan Foley   February 5, 2020 No Comments

Since President Trump first took office in 2017, the number of sanctuary jurisdictions has grown exponentially.  There were 338 sanctuary jurisdictions when President Obama left office just three years ago. Now there are more than 500 cities, states, and counties across the United States that have adopted some form of sanctuary for illegal aliens. According to a report released by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) in 2018, “about half of all Americans now live under sanctuary policies that shield illegal immigrants from law enforcement.”

College campuses, many of which operate as individual cities with their own police force, have also decided to embrace the activist movement and resist the enforcement of American immigration laws.  Late last month, Michigan State University (MSU) became the latest addition to the list of sanctuary campuses. The university will likely receive little pushback from its home city of East Lansing which first declared itself a sanctuary city back in 2017.

One would think that after all the fallout from the sexual abuse of the US Olympic Women's team on campus, the millions of dollars it has, and will, cost the school, they would want to make sure they keep their noses clean.  But for the most part, few people have ever accused Michigan State of being a school for intellectuals. :chairbang:

Really, really sad to see this. Hopefully we won't see campuses around the country follow.  This is craziness.  Legal American students will now be faced with illegal thugs, MS-13 gang members and terrorists from around the country.  And of course ... college campuses are gun free zones so they are targets just waiting to be assaulted.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Do they accept Federal dollars? If yes than they abandon this crap or they abandon the money, no way they should be allowed both. I know that when we did work for Biola University here in California they told us that they don't accept one penny from government, that way only they had a say in policies and religion on their campus. Sometimes it took years to get something done or like the case with us, we remodeled their chem and biology labs by reusing and modifying as much equipment and furniture as possible.
