Two New Hampshire Democratic primary polls released ahead of Tuesday’s vote show Senator Amy Klobuchar (D., Minn.) surging to third place and overtaking former frontrunners Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren.

The latest Boston Globe/Suffolk University poll released Sunday showed Klobuchar coming in third with 13.6 percent of the vote, nearly a two-point lead over Biden and Warren, who were neck-and-neck for fourth with 11.8 and 11.6 percent of the vote, respectively.

Klobuchar reacted to the news on Twitter, saying that “we are surging!” following the poll’s release.

I don't know a thing about her, but I'd be delighted if she won in New Hampshire -- that would be curtains for Uncle Joe.  It would also scare the pants off of Buttgig and Warren.   :silly:

They carry Democratic party baggage, they toe the line. If they didn't do that, certainly, they would not seem all so radical.

The last Iowa polls were way off except for Klobuchar. Sanders was 3 points, Warren I think 5, and Buttgigger and Skeezy Joe were double diguts.

I would love for Klobuchar to do better. Hopefully she now has enough traction to keep the top 5 all under 30%, and relatively equal so they are still all in the game.

The press is starting to get behind Klobucher.  Expect them to label her "the comeback kid" after her third or even second-place finish in New Hampshire.

Here's yet another positive story on her, this one from See-BS:

Amy Klobuchar "troubled" by having democratic socialist Sanders atop ticket

The question struck at the heart of tensions within the Democratic party and concerns about whether Senator Bernie Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist and 2020 front-runner, can defeat Mr. Trump in November.

Klobuchar, who is battling Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg to win moderate voters, said that while she is friends with Sanders and has worked with him on tackling the cost of prescription drugs, he is not the candidate to lead the party in the 2020 election.

"People are tired of the extremes in our politics and the noise and the nonsense," she said, adding that voters looking for a candidate who can "bring in ideas and actually get them done" have a "home" with her.

The Minnesota senator also said it would be a "lot tougher" for freshman Democrats from swing states to hold on to their seats in November if Sanders is the nominee.

Klobuchar has surged in the wake of Friday's debate, leaving election watchers to say she has gained "Klo-mentum."
