Following President Trump’s vindication by the U.S. Senate earlier in the week, the Vindman twins were fired by the National Security Council (NSC) and escorted out of the White House by security on Friday.

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman testified against Trump in the House impeachment inquiry. Brother Yevgeny, an NSC attorney, was also dismissed and the twins left the White House grounds together. Yevgeny Vindman worked in the office that vetted publications such as John Bolton’s manuscript.

Speech-slashing Speaker Nancy Pelosi seized on the administration’s move, saying, “I’m stunned by it,” and that “this goes too far.”

Why are their there disloyals, in the NSC?

Who appoints (details) them, supervises them, reviews their performance, etc. ?

Don't we need a system that does not set a path for this ever again?

When any crime story writer wouldn't dare place twin brothers in the White House who don't like the POTUS, it's inconceivable that even after 'discovery', they weren't immediately terminated, but allowed to 'flourish'.

WTF does it take to get fired from a government job?

Colonel Vindman has an older brother, Leonid, who runs an investment/consulting company that specializes in projects in "Central Eastern Europe, Russia, the Caucasus and Central Asia region."

Presumably, that would include Ukraine and there were several Ukraine investment round-tables moderated by the older Vindman.  Is there anyone connected with the Neocon/Clinton/Obama machine in any way that doesn't have their greedy hands in the corrupt sewers of Russia and Ukraine?   John Bolton was paid $115K for a speech by Ukranian oligarch and huge Clinton Foundation donor Victor Pinchuk.   Romney's "special advisor" in his 2012 campaign,  Cofer Black, joined Hunter Biden on the Burisma board in 2017.

An opinion but first a dose of reality for Pelousy!
As Potus Trump, w/authority over the Executive Branch, may hire/fire whom he chooses.
As a very wise 'Old Roman' told us; "Tis far better the Prince be feared rather than loved!"
Had Trump internalized and executed this cold reality on Day 1 rather than now, the chronic
turmoil within his Executive Branch would hardly have occurred. But you ask, why so ???
Because our perpetual DC Bureaucrats, since W.Wilson, only interest is in the influence and
power that creates notoriety and wealth for them.
Yet fear, a powerful motivator that transcends self-interest, would have opened their eyes to
the wrath that awaited them were they to cross the line; consequently they would have stayed
dormant and passive! Reality! But sadly this remains a lesson for another person and time.

Pelosi is ever so slowly starting to come the the realization, which everyone else always knew, that she is NOT the most powerful person in America, kicking and screaming the whole way. She is obviously suffering from some fairly severe mental issues. She thought she could overwhelm and dictate the Senate. She actually thinks that she is as powerful or even more powerful than President Trump, whom she has never recognized as being a 'legitimate' President, according to her own personal criteria.

Now she has it in her head that any time Trump does something that she did not personally approve, she will move to impeach or to undermine his decision in any way she can.

Senility, megalomania, delusions of grandeur, Pelosi is one crazy monkey. The fact that she is speaker for the Dems is nothing short of amazing.

Yes, Pelosi was the most powerful person in America and that is starting to come to a grinding halt.  She is now realizing that and I think she tore up the State of the Union speech because she was humiliated and frustrated. Trump is in her head now 24/7 and it's taking its toll on her.

She also has another problem; she has lost control of the far leftists within her own party.

I don't think that she will step down willingly, but her own party will eventually force her out.

Pelosi is drunk on her power.  She thinks she is equal or greater than the president, and the fact is, she has proven to be weak and foolish, with more than a dash of downright STUPID!!!

Nothing she does is working.  Well, it will not be long, and she will be out as Speaker.  The House moves overwhelmingly to the Republicans, and don't be surprised if the Republicans get a true voting majority in the Senate.  I tell you, the Dems are done as a party.
