This U.S. Marine Helicopter Is More Expensive Than the F-35

Not good at all.

Key point: The CH-53K has too many problems and costs too much to make sense. Yet, American taxpayers are footing the bill at $144 million per helicopter.

The Pentagon believes that the Marine Corps' new CH-53K King Stallion heavy-lift helicopter — which at, $144 million apiece, costs more than the notoriously expensive F-35A Lightning II joint strike fighter, is "the most powerful helicopter the United States has ever fielded."

Unfortunately, the pricey helo may not see action downrange anytime soon due to a growing list of worrying technical problems.

@rangerrebew

Who makes it,where is it made,and who are that states congresscritters and US Senators?

BTW,what was wrong with the Sea Stallion. Didn't that helicopter meet all the Naval needs for a helicopter? WHY did it need to be replaced?
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!
