The FBI has identified the three illegal immigrants accused of assaulting U.S. Border Patrol agents near The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo.

A criminal complaint filed on Monday identified the assailants as Walter Yobani Ordones-Chavez, Jose Manuel Sapate-Suazo and Kelvin Midencio Benedict-Garcia. Each remains in federal custody under no bond.
At about 6:45 a.m. Dec. 31, agents responded to a sensor activation near the area of Headen Avenue and Ventura Street in El Tonto neighborhood. An agent saw seven individuals running toward the back of a house north of Ventura.
